Round 2 Fixture Update: Golden Square & Eaglehawk clash relocated

The Bendigo Football Netball League (BFNL) together with Golden Square FNC wish to advise that the Round 2 fixture between Golden Square FNC and Eaglehawk FNC will now be played at Canterbury Park, Eaglehawk.

The change of venue comes as a result of current re-development of the Wade Street precinct impacting Golden Square’s ability to host a home match.

Football match times will remain as fixtured with the Under 18’s starting at 10:45am. While netball games will follow a dual-court schedule on the day beginning with 15 & under at 10am.

Supporters are encouraged to attend Canterbury Park to support both clubs in what is expected to be a competitive Round 2 encounter.

The BFNL is continuing to work closely with the Golden Square FNC and the City of Greater Bendigo on how the remainder of the 2026 season looks at Wade Street and provide updates as required.
